The Opportunity – Build the Future with Us
Join our Transportation CMS team as a Survey Technician / Technologist, where precision, technology, and collaboration come together to deliver the transportation infrastructure that connects communities and supports sustainable growth. This role provides hands‑on exposure to advanced survey technologies and the opportunity to contribute across the full project lifecycle.
Your Impact
- Support transportation survey projects from field data collection through to final deliverables.
- Participate in field surveys using modern survey equipment and technologies.
- Process and analyse survey data to support accurate project delivery.
- Produce survey drawings, surfaces, and quantities using Civil 3D and AutoCAD.
- Perform quality control reviews to ensure accuracy and consistency of survey outputs.
- Provide construction support including grade stakeout, verification, and quantity measurement.
- Travel to project sites as required, contributing to projects across diverse environments.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- A minimum of 3 years of survey experience is preferred, ideally on transportation or infrastructure projects.
- Diploma or degree in a Geomatics discipline is an asset.
- Experience with RTK GNSS, robotic total stations, scanners, LiDAR and photogrammetry drones.
- Proficiency with Civil 3D, AutoCAD and Trimble Business Centre (TBC).
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and support field execution.
- Strong understanding of survey quality control processes.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible or night shift schedules when required.

Compensation
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $77,400 – $102,500
MB & ON: $70,600 – $97,200
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $69,900 – $92,900
