You’ll partner closely with technical leaders and business stakeholders, bringing structure, insight and storytelling expertise to complex bids - freeing our experts to focus on what they do best while you lead the path to success.
What you’ll do
You’ll take ownership of strategic bids from concept through to submission, ensuring excellence at every stage. Key responsibilities include:
- Lead and manage pursuit strategy development and proposal submissions aligned to WSP frameworks
- Guide teams to create clear, compelling and client-focused content that meets evaluation criteria
- Facilitate bid workshops, including win themes, messaging and storyboarding
- Coordinate, author and review high-quality proposal documentation and presentations
- Proactively manage multiple bids across varying scale and complexity
- Promote best practice across bid writing, review, production and knowledge management
- Support governance processes (DOA, advisory panels) and ensure submissions are approval-ready
- Work with business leaders to develop tailored client solutions and offerings
You’ll be a trusted advisor—providing direction, constructive challenge and leadership to lift the quality and consistency of our bids.
What you’ll bring
We’re looking for a confident and experienced bid professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment:
- ~8+ years’ experience in bidding, sales, marketing or related disciplines
- Background in professional services (highly regarded)
- Strong understanding of pursuit processes and bid best practice
- Exceptional writing, editing and communication skills
- Ability to influence, engage and build trust with stakeholders across all levels
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
- Experience facilitating workshops and driving collaboration
- Proficiency across Microsoft Office and collaboration tools (Teams, SharePoint)
Qualifications:
- Degree in marketing, communications, journalism or equivalent experience
