As a Proposal Specialist, leading Strategic Pursuits & Proposals, you will play a critical role in securing complex, high‑profile infrastructure and advisory projects across Canada supporting our Earth & Environment sector. Your work will directly influence how communities grow, how sustainability goals are achieved, and how WSP continues to lead in the AEC market.
Your Impact
- Analyze RFPs and pursuit opportunities to develop compelling proposal strategies that align with client priorities and position WSP for success.
- Coordinate, write, and edit proposals from kick‑off through final submission, ensuring clarity, quality, and compliance with WSP brand and client requirements.
- Manage proposal schedules and milestones, facilitating collaboration across technical, operational, and leadership teams to meet tight deadlines.
- Adapt CVs, project descriptions, and boilerplate content to create tailored, client‑focused submissions.
- Support interview preparation, including presentation development, storyboarding, and rehearsal coordination.
- Contribute to continuous improvement, participating in pursuit debriefs and helping refine tools, templates, and best practices across the proposal team.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- Minimum 4 years of experience in a proposal coordination, specialist, or lead role within the AEC or professional services environment.
- Proven experience supporting strategic pursuits and complex proposals, with exposure to multi‑disciplinary teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Acrobat); familiarity with CRM tools and emerging AI tools (e.g., Copilot, Claude) is an asset.
- Knowledge of federal pursuits is considered an asset.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven environment, with flexibility for occasional overtime and travel.

Compensation
BC, AB, SK, NWT & NT: $77,400 - $102,500
MB & ON: $70,600 - $97,200
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $69,900 - 92,900
