WSP is currently initiating a search for Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Project Engineers for our South Florida, Washington D.C., and Boston, MA offices.
Act as a designer on Bus Rapid Transit projects at all phases, from concept to construction.
Provide technical support and Project Management on projects or tasks with opportunity to grow, including contract negotiation and managing to a scope, schedule, and budget.
Support larger projects as a Deputy Project Manager, Task Manager, Segment Manager or discipline expert.
Aid local offices pursuing or delivering transit projects with technical expertise, including opportunities to travel.
Demonstrate your skills to the industry through conference presentations and paper publication.
Assist in growing the business by building relationships, writing marketing proposals and providing other business development support.
Management of technical staff.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or similar discipline (roadway, site design, traffic engineer).
P.E. License with 7 to 15 years of experience in Bus Rapid Transit projects or equivalent.
Experience working with transit agencies and department of transportations.
Demonstrated organizational and communications skills.

Compensation:
Expected Rate (all locations): $100,000 - $250,000
WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant’s sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.
