Senior Technician, Drafting Support

To provide technical drafting support to the
Middle East Power & Energy business in the
field of engineering

The range of activities includes:

1. Preparation and development of engineering deliverables including Single Line Diagrams (SLD), Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), P&ID, Loop Drawings, Cable Block Diagrams, Plant Layouts, Cable Routing and Switchgear Configurations using 2D and 3D design software.
2. Development of detailed engineering drawings such as Land Utilization Plans, Elevations, Above & Below Ground Conduit Layouts, Grounding Layouts, Lighting & Lightning Protection Layouts and Bill of Materials.
3. Coordination of engineering and design activities with Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Networks and Transmission Line disciplines.
4. Preparation and revision of engineering drawings from sketches, mark-ups and conceptual layouts.
5. Support project execution through compliance with company and client drafting standards, procedures and specifications.
6. Participation in design reviews, client meetings and multidisciplinary coordination activities.
7. Contribution to design process improvements, workflow enhancement initiatives and implementation of new technologies.
