The Opportunity
Build the Future with Us – As an Engineer in our Land Development and Municipal Engineering team, you’ll design and deliver infrastructure that shapes communities in Kingston and surrounding areas. From stormwater management to site servicing and grading design, your work will support sustainable growth and improve quality of life for residents.
Your Impact
- Execute and review storm, water, and wastewater designs for municipal and land development projects.
- Prepare feasibility studies, stormwater management plans, and grading designs that meet regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and clients to design subdivisions, roads, water systems, and public spaces.
- Respond to proposal requests and contribute to business development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with zoning laws, OPSS/OPSD standards, and municipal guidelines.
- Mentor junior team members and support their professional growth.
- Balance office-based design with on-site application to deliver projects that enhance community sustainability.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering; Master’s degree is an asset.
- Registered as a P.Eng. in Ontario.
- 3–8 years of experience in land development and municipal engineering.
- Expertise in site servicing, stormwater management, grading, and drainage design.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and Ontario Provincial Standard Specifications and Drawings.
- Familiarity with land development approvals process in Ontario.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Valid Ontario driver’s license and ability to work in both office and field environments.

Compensation
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $80,800 – $107,000
MB & ON: $73,700 – $101,500
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $73,000 – $96,900
