On Call Drawings Helper

WSP is currently initiating a search for an On Call Drawings Helper in El Paso, TX. The selected candidate will be on-site at our client's facility performing hard copy drawing digitization and cataloging services. Be involved in projects with our Earth & Environment Mechanical and Piping Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges. This position is subject to and contingent upon WSP award of work.
Your Impact
- Under general supervision, performs project work that assists the Engineering Drawing Vault Digitization project.
- Provide on-site assembly assistance for the assembly of the photo-copying table.
- Provide photo-copying services for the Refinery division drawings.
- Title Block data entry services for the Refinery division drawings.
- Rolodex card data entry services for the complete Rolodex card set.
- Complete training on assigned tasks.
- Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
- Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma.
- 0-2 years’ experience.
- Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft SharePoint.
- The ability to perform repetitive tasks independently for extended periods.
- A mobile device capable of communication via phone calls or text messages.
- The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- The ability to commute to work daily.
- Highly accurate and detail oriented.
- Demonstrates initiative, organizational skills and ability to work well under pressure.
- Demonstrates ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment.
- Must be able to demonstrate our core values of honesty, fairness, respect, trust, and integrity.
- Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English.

Preferred Qualifications:
Current college/university enrollment, working towards BS in Mechanical Engineering, Junior or above.
