Senior AI Engineer – (Land Services)

The Senior AI Engineer will design, develop and deploy AI-enabled solutions to support WSP’s Land Services business, working from India as part of a multidisciplinary team supporting UK and Ireland projects. The role will focus on translating real land, property, GIS, data management and project delivery challenges into practical AI solutions that improve efficiency, quality, decision-making and client outcomes. 

The role is suited to experienced professionals with hands-on capability in AI/ML engineering, Generative AI, Azure cloud environments, data engineering and solution delivery. The Consultant will take ownership of defined AI work packages, build fit-for-purpose solutions, support adoption by project teams and provide technical guidance to junior team members where required. 

The position involves close collaboration with WSP’s Land experts, Transformation and Digital Insights / Data & Decision Science teams, project managers, GIS specialists and wider consultancy teams to identify opportunities, prototype solutions, deliver scalable outputs and embed AI into day-to-day project delivery in a controlled and responsible manner. 

This role will support WSP Land’s digital transformation by rapidly turning ideas into practical AI solutions that can be embedded into everyday project delivery and enhance the services delivered to clients.
