This role is your opportunity to shape transportation infrastructure across the GTA. As an Intermediate / Experienced Electrical BIM Revit Modeler in our Buildings Mechanical & Electrical Transportation Group, you will help deliver complex transit and transportation facility projects that keep communities moving.
Your Impact
- Design and 3D model electrical power distribution, circuiting, conduit and duct bank routing, bonding & grounding, lightning protection, emergency power, UPS, generators, and fire alarm systems.
- Carry out basic design and 3D modeling for interior, exterior, landscape, façade, art lighting, fixture selection, and lighting controls.
- Prepare system and equipment installation details for project submission packages.
- Work independently or collaboratively to develop drawings that meet project standards and deadlines.
- Support electrical engineers and senior designers with system concepts, calculations, and technical design input.
- Apply and uphold WSP’s BIM standards, policies, and procedures.
- Coordinate with WSP’s offshore design teams for integrated delivery.
- Contribute to continuous improvement by staying current with BIM, ACC, automation trends, and digital delivery technologies.
- Complete other tasks required to support high‑quality project delivery.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- 5+ years of experience in Electrical and/or Lighting design, CAD, BIM 3D Revit Modeling, and use of ACC (Autodesk Collaboration Cloud).
- Strong working knowledge of power distribution, circuiting, conduit/duct bank sizing, equipment selection, fire alarm & suppression systems, and emergency power distribution.
- Hands‑on understanding of lighting systems, fixture selection, lighting controls, and emergency egress lighting.
- Proficiency with Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM add‑ins; familiarity with Dynamo scripting and Civil 3D considered an asset.
- Experience with National or Regional BIM standards and digital design automation is an asset.
- Prior onsite or contracting experience is considered an advantage.
- Bentley MicroStation experience and TTC Standards familiarity are considered assets.
- Motivated, detail‑oriented, organized, and collaborative with a passion for DDT (Digital Delivery Technologies).

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT:
$77,400 – $102,500
MB & ON:
$70,600 – $97,200
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC:
$69,900 – $92,900
