As a Senior Landscape Architect, you will play a leadership role within WSP’s Landscape Architecture & Urban Design practice in Ontario. Based in the Greater Toronto Area, this role offers the opportunity to lead complex projects from concept through construction, contribute to business growth, and mentor the next generation of landscape professionals—while shaping resilient, people‑centered communities.
Your Impact
- Lead landscape architecture and urban design projects from concept development through construction administration.
- Shape public spaces, parks, streetscapes, and infrastructure projects that bring people and nature together.
- Provide technical and design leadership across multidisciplinary project teams.
- Contribute to proposal development and business development initiatives to win new work.
- Mentor and support the growth of early‑career landscape architects and designers.
- Collaborate with planners, engineers, scientists, and allied professionals to deliver integrated solutions.
- Represent WSP with professionalism when engaging clients, stakeholders, and the public.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- Degree in Landscape Architecture with 12+ years of progressive professional experience.
- Full Member in Good Standing with OALA (or equivalent provincial association, with seal).
- Demonstrated experience leading projects from concept to completion, including contract administration.
- Strong project management and financial acumen.
- Advanced technical skills in core design and production tools (AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp, MS Office).
- Proven ability to communicate and present design ideas clearly to diverse audiences.
- Willingness to undertake fieldwork and participate in construction site reviews.
- Collaborative mindset with a passion for mentorship, design excellence, and continuous learning.
Compensation
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $104,100 – $138,000
MB & ON: $95,000 – $130,800
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $94,100 – $124,900
