Be part of a collaborative Municipal Engineering Contract Administration team where your field expertise helps deliver infrastructure that supports safe, resilient, and growing communities. As a Field Services Technician, you’ll work hands‑on in the field, supporting construction inspection and contract administration activities that directly impact municipal projects and public spaces.
Your Impact
- Support field inspections for municipal infrastructure projects, including roads, underground utilities, and civil works
- Assist with contract administration activities such as quantity tracking, field documentation, and compliance verification
- Collect, record, and organize field data, measurements, and daily inspection reports
- Collaborate closely with engineers, inspectors, contractors, and municipal clients to support project delivery
- Promote safe work practices and adhere to WSP and client health and safety requirements
- Contribute to quality assurance by identifying deficiencies and supporting corrective actions
- Help ensure projects are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements
The Skills That Set You Apart
- Diploma or certificate in Civil Engineering Technology or a related technical discipline
- Previous experience supporting field services, construction inspection, or municipal infrastructure projects
- Familiarity with construction drawings, specifications, and basic contract administration processes
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and on active construction sites
- Strong attention to detail with accurate record‑keeping and reporting skills
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to project sites as required
- Commitment to health, safety, and environmental best practices

Compensation
AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $57,500 – $76,200
MB & ON: $52,500 – $72,300
NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $52,500 – $72,300
