WSP is seeking a Project Controls Analyst to join our Project Controls team. This individual can sit in our WSP locations in either Texas, Utah, Nevada, or Tennessee.
Your Impact
Design and build advanced Power BI dashboards and reporting tools that give leadership and clients clear, actionable KPI visibility across cost, schedule, and performance metrics.
Develop Power Apps solutions to streamline data collection, approvals, and workflow automation across project controls functions.
Perform data analysis across project data sets, identifying trends, anomalies, and opportunities to improve reporting accuracy and decision-making.
Standardize reporting templates and KPI tracking frameworks across projects, ensuring consistency and data integrity feeding into Power BI dashboards.
Produce regular progress reports for the Program Manager and PMO, translating project data into clear executive-level summaries, memos, and client deliverables.
Prepare cost estimates, budgets, forecasts, cash flows, and financial projections; support earned value management (EVM) tracking and reporting.
Administer cost management/PMIS platforms (e.g., e-Builder, Procore, or similar); support tracking of acquisition packages for reimbursement and invoice review.
Provide supporting input on program/project schedules, helping monitor contractor and consultant schedule data and flag discrepancies for review by the Program Manager.
Support vendor selection, contractor progress tracking, change order management, and project close-out reporting as needed.
Who You Are
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent.
7+ years of experience in project controls, reporting, and data analysis on large-scale capital projects.
Reporting & BI Tools: Demonstrated hands-on expertise building Power BI dashboards and reports; strong working knowledge of Power Apps for workflow/data collection tools; advanced Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills.
Working knowledge of cost forecasting, budgeting, and earned value management (EVM) practices.
Familiarity with scheduling concepts and PMIS/scheduling platforms such as e-Builder, Procore, Primavera P6, or Microsoft Project (supporting-level proficiency).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail in dashboard/report accuracy and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights for both technical teams and executive stakeholders.

Compensation:
Expected Salary (all locations): $130,000-159,000/yr
WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant’s education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location.
