Engineer – 3 Waters | Whangārei
We have a wonderful opportunity for a 3 Waters Engineer who will deliver on key client needs by providing professional consulting services across 3 Waters and project delivery, including expertise in 3 Waters design and construction.
In this role, you’ll develop practical technical solutions for Three Waters projects—supporting the delivery of water, wastewater and stormwater service improvements from concept and design through to construction.
As a key member of our Water team working with local and regional authorities, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Preparing contract documentation
- Supporting tender evaluations
- Providing on-site contractor supervision
- Making project-related decisions in collaboration with the wider team and stakeholders
About you:
- Relevant Tertiary Qualification (Ideally BEng in Civil Engineering or related)
- Preferably minimum 5+ years’ professional experience
- Strong background in stormwater projects and knowledge of the relevant codes including GD0S, Tpl0 and Tpl08.
- Base-level project management skills with an interest in developing further.
- Strong site experience (MSQA) is desirable.
- Current, clean drivers licence.
