Building Compliance Consultant - IQP, Auckland
We have an excellent opportunity for a Building Compliance Consultant (IQP) to join our Property team in Auckland. You will play a key role in processing the day-to-day delivery of the Building Warrant of Fitness and building compliance services for key clients, primarily across the Auckland region, while collaborating with our wider national Property team where required.
Coordinate BWOF and compliance audit programmes while supporting continuous improvement of our compliance management systems and processes.
Provide technical support to project teams and assist with the delivery of smaller-scale compliance projects.
This role offers flexibility, autonomy, and the opportunity to work across a diverse property portfolio within a well-established national team.
About You:
- Relevant tertiary qualification or professional industry qualification
- Independently Qualified Person (IQP) registration, or the ability to work toward IQP registration, would be advantageous
- Relevant industry experience within BWOF and building compliance services
- Experience with Building Act and BWOF compliance requirements
- Strong understanding of the Building Act 2004 and compliance requirements associated with BWOF delivery
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills essential
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word, plus other software such as Project is an advantage
- Experience in consulting would be advantageous, though not essential.
