Senior Bridge Engineer, Whangārei

Based in Whangārei, this senior role blends hands-on technical delivery with day-to-day guidance to the local team across civil and structural projects.

• You’ll lead bridge maintenance, renewals and asset management projects—owning client relationships and delivery from inspection through to design and construction support.
• You’ll set the technical direction—reviewing work, managing risk and lifting quality across bridge, civil and structural design.
• You’ll grow and mentor our Whangārei Bridge team—planning workloads, supporting wellbeing and building a high-performing, collaborative culture.

• You’ll help lift capability locally while delivering great outcomes for our clients.

   

About you:

• Relevant Tertiary Qualification (Ideally BEng in Civil Engineering or related)
• Preferably minimum 10+ years’ professional experience 
• CPEng
• Current clean drivers license
