Your Impact
- Support field investigations, inspections, and construction monitoring activities across a variety of municipal and infrastructure projects.
- Perform materials testing (soil, asphalt, concrete) to help ensure projects meet design, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Document field observations accurately and prepare clear, data‑driven daily reports that inform critical project decisions.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and construction teams to resolve issues and maintain project progress.
- Apply WSP safety standards and contribute to a strong culture of safe field practices.
- Assist with quality assurance/quality control procedures that support long‑lasting, community‑focused infrastructure.
The Skills That Set You Apart
- Hands‑on experience in construction, materials testing, field inspection, or related applied technical work.
- Comfortable working outdoors, in the field, and on active construction sites while meeting all safety requirements.
- Ability to use tools and equipment commonly used in construction testing and inspection (e.g., compaction testing tools, concrete testing equipment).
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain precise documentation and high‑quality data collection.
- A collaborative, solutions‑focused mindset with a desire to contribute to meaningful community projects.

Compensation:
- AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $51,800 – $68,600
- MB & ON: $47,200 – $65,000
- NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $46,800 – $62,100
