Principal Engineer – Water
Great opportunity for a Principal Stormwater Engineer to join our high-performing Auckland water team. The successful candidate will take a leading role in securing, managing and delivering multidisciplinary projects. You will be a technical lead paying strong attention to detail with the production of design, drawings, specifications, reports and other documents associated with stormwater engineering, and producing practical/buildable designs. You will be skilled at liaising with other disciplines and stakeholders to deliver complex projects which delight our clients. We have an excellent design lead opportunity involved with transformational projects and programmes associated Blue-Green networks, major transport projects, pipe network and culvert design, water quality design, pond and wetlands, and stream restorations. You will have the chance to play a key part in delivering critical infrastructure for our communities in Auckland and across New Zealand.
About you
• BE in Engineering preferred
• Consulting background desirable
• CPEng or equivalent
• Minimum of ten years’ professional experience in design of stormwater infrastructure
• Proficient in the use Civil 3D and/or 12D, and other design software
• Project Management experience and training would be advantageous
• Creative, and solutions-driven, collaborative and relationship-oriented
• Current clean drivers’ licence
