The role goes beyond traditional administration — you will optimise leadership effectiveness, ensure focus on the highest-value activities, and proactively remove friction from the executive agenda.
You will operate with a high degree of autonomy, making decisions within clear guardrails, resolving issues early, and driving pace across the leadership team.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to…
- Own and manage the President’s diary, inbox, and priorities based on strategic value
- Act as a trusted gatekeeper and priority manager, challenging and reshaping requests where needed
- Anticipate needs and ensure the President is always prepared and focused on what matters most
- Manage the rhythm and cadence of key leadership meetings (e.g. executive, performance, client reviews)
- Ensure meetings are well-structured with clear agendas, decisions recorded, and actions tracked to completion
- Proactively track follow-ups and ensure delivery against key priorities
- Prepare high-quality briefing packs for clients, investors, and internal stakeholders
- Act as a key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders
- Draft and coordinate high-quality communications on behalf of the President
- Build strong relationships across the leadership team and wider business
- Coordinate meetings, events, and travel (UK and international)
- Work closely with support functions (e.g. marketing, finance) to deliver high-quality outputs
- Drive use of digital tools (including Copilot) to improve productivity and efficiency
- Identify opportunities to simplify processes and improve ways of working
- Remove friction and resolve issues before escalation
- Coach and support other Executive Assistants, contributing to the PA community
- Lead by example in professionalism, discretion, and delivery standards
What we would be looking for you to demonstrate…
- Extensive experience in a senior EA / Executive Assistant role supporting C-suite leaders
- Strong business judgement with the ability to prioritise, challenge, and act independently
- Excellent communication skills with confidence engaging senior stakeholders
- Proven ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Discreet, trustworthy, and able to handle sensitive information
- Experience in professional services, consultancy, or a similar environment is desirable
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, with confidence using digital tools to improve productivity
