Store Manager (WM)

This role plays a key part in our Wolt Market growth in Romania.

We are now searching for a full time Store Manager to lead our Wolt Market store in Timisoara, Romania. In this role, you’ll find yourself in a challenging but well supported position. You’ll have a strong influence on how your city operations will look like. What you’ll be doing

You will work closely with your team, leading, coaching and developing them in line with Wolt's leadership principles. You will ensure your team has the knowledge, tools and support needed to run the store's day-to-day operations successfully. This might include staying on top of freshness, managing labor costs and workforce planning, food safety and regulatory requirements, driving continuous improvement initiatives to improve productivity, quality and customer experience, inventory and stock management. You’ll be responsible for hiring, training, providing daily feedback and also holding 1:1 on a regular basis to grow the individual, go through performance and set goals.

Day-to-day in this role you’ll

• Leading, growing and motivating a team, while creating an environment where colleagues can do their best work.
• Your main goal will be to consistently improve the way our stores operate with help from the Operations Team. Fast delivery and fluent operations consist of a large field of things, this is one of the key day to day operational tasks you’ll be working with.
• Continuously participating in internal and external meetings
• The role also requires good collaboration and communication with other functions at Wolt to make sure we have a good selection & right products on sale.
• Monitoring operational KPIs, inventory shrink and food waste while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. 
• Managing shift scheduling, store administration, including payroll inputs, attendance tracking, employee documentation 
• Handling incoming goods, store ordering routines and day-to-day store administration.
• Ensuring compliance with health & safety, food safety and company operational standards while preparing the store for internal and external audits. 
• Overseeing everything the store and colleagues need to enable fast growth. This includes everything from ordering office supplies or IT-devices to a complete set of new fridges.

• Experience from working in a grocery store is a plus.
• You are comfortable giving feedback, managing performance and making decisions that support both your team and business goals. 
• Fluent level of Romanian and English.
