Specialist, Web and Digital
Position Summary
The Specialist, Web and Digital supports the execution and optimization of the Firm’s digital platforms, with a primary focus on the website and digital products. The role combines web operations, content publishing, search optimization, and analytics support to deliver engaging, high-quality digital experiences. Working collaboratively with internal teams and vendors, the Specialist helps improve user experience and overall website performance. The role also assists with content modelling and governance, user experience improvements and pre-migration activities that prepare the Firm for future platform evolution.
Responsibilities
Platform Operations & Content Workflow
¨ Execute content updates and enhancements within the CMS, ensuring accuracy and adherence to best practices.
¨ Apply strong content authoring practices, including formatting, structure, and usability.
¨ Support structured content, templates, and reusable components.
¨ Identify opportunities to improve content clarity, layout, and user experience.
¨ Monitor site performance and escalate issues related to site health and usability.
¨ Support intake and execution of web requests.
Content, Migration & Digital Transformation Support
¨ Support content audit, inventory, cleanup, and migration readiness activities.
¨ Prepare, validate, and QA content, metadata, and taxonomy for migration into the CMS.
¨ Assist with mapping legacy content to new templates, components, and structured content models.
¨ Partner with stakeholders and vendors to support migration testing, issues resolution, and content validation.
¨ Document migration processes and contribute to continuous improvements in content publishing and governance.
Search, SEO & AI-Driven Discoverability
¨ Support optimization of site search (e.g., SearchStax, Moz).
¨ Assist with metadata, tagging, and content structure improvements.
¨ Implement SEO updates provided by internal or external stakeholders.
¨ Assist with improvements to usability, accessibility, and performance.
Analytics & Tracking Support
¨ Assist with tracking content, social media, and SEO performance.
¨ Pull and organize digital marketing reports.
¨ Support project coordination and digital workflow management.
¨ Maintain organized campaign and content documentation.
Qualifications
¨ 3–6 years of relevant experience
¨ Experience with CMS platforms (Drupal, Contentful, Contenstack)
¨ Experience with content authoring and publishing, with an understanding of how content structure impacts user experience
¨ Experience with Google Tag Manager (GTM), Google Analytics (GA4), and analytics concepts (preferred)
¨ Experience with enterprise search tools (e.g., SearchStax) (preferred)
¨ Understanding of SEO, metadata, and structured content
¨ Exposure to modern CMS approaches (e.g., hybrid/headless)
¨ Exposure to UX, accessibility, or performance optimization (e.g. Siteimprove)
¨ Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
¨ Ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams
