In this role, you will:

• Consult, review and research moderately complex business, operational, and technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of variable data factors
• Perform moderately complex data analysis to support and drive strategic initiatives and business needs
• Develop a deep understanding of technical systems and business processes to extract data driven insights while identifying opportunities for engineering enhancements
• Lead or participate on large cross group projects
• Mentor less experienced staff
• Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, external contractors, and mid-level managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
• Leverage a solid understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for supported area

Required Qualifications:

• 4+ years of Analytics experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

• 6+ years of overall experience in Data
• Understanding of the US Home Lending product lifecycle, both Origination and Servicing
• Proficient with SQL
• Strong command using SAS for data gathering and analyses
• Experience in Regulatory Reporting and knowledge of submission cycles and compliance standards to be maintained.
• Detail oriented documentation skills.
• Consultative skills: have the ability to rationalize business need and solution design from people not knowing how to ask precisely for what they need.
• Strong written and verbal communication, presentation and inter-personal skills.
• Ability to perform analysis, build hypothesis, draw conclusions and communicate clear, actionable recommendation to business leaders & partners.
• Ability to interact with integrity and a high level of professionalism with all levels of team members and management.
• Prior experience working with risk, regulatory, or legal projects in Home Lending preferably.
• Good to have certifications in Data Management, Data Engineering tools.
• Strong understanding of business drivers and industry trends of lending products & home lending in specific.
• Proven ability to be successfully deliver robust solutions in a fast-paced environment
• Proven ability to ensure analytic rigor for all work products
