About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Merchant Sales Consultant (MSC) to drive revenue by boarding new Franchise and Associations referral relationships while facilitating growth in the existing partner portfolio.
This is a Strategic sales position responsible for new business development of third-party referral relationships in the Franchise and Association space. This position is responsible for meeting relationship boarding goals through consultative selling, leading the entire sales process from start to finish, cultivating strong bank partnerships to increase lead flow and to promote and build Franchise and Association brand awareness. You will also be responsible for managing an existing portfolio of referral partners and theirYOY growth. Delivers key messages to complex and broad audiences, which includes external C-Level client executives, and internal senior leadership. Actively shares knowledge and market experience with peers and can operate well within collective success team environment.

5+ years of experience in Merchant Services, Payment Processing and/or Strategic Partnerships.
Proven success acquiring and growing new client and partner relationships, with a consistent record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals.
Experience working with organizations generating $50MM+ in annual revenue and navigating complex stakeholder environments.
Ability to manage the full sales and onboarding lifecycle, from prospecting and contract negotiation through implementation and relationship management.
Strong partnership development skills, with a collaborative approach to driving business alongside internal bank partners and cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated success identifying client needs, delivering tailored payment solutions, and expanding existing relationships to drive long-term revenue growth.
Solid understanding of merchant services, payment processing, interchange, payment architecture, and merchant risk considerations.
Strong consultative selling, relationship management, negotiation, and executive communication skills.

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
