About this role:
We are seeking a highly motivated Enterprise Risk Associate to join the India-based CIB CRO Strategy, Planning & Governance (SP&G) team, supporting the Business Management pillar of the International Risk function.
This role will provide dedicated business management support across a growing and increasingly complex portfolio of International Risk activities. The successful candidate will serve as a central coordination and support resource, helping strengthen and scale a consistent operating model across core business management, governance, risk oversight, and regulatory support activities.
The role will support a broad range of responsibilities including staffing and headcount reporting, cost allocation reviews, business performance reporting, outsourcing and third-party risk governance, policy governance, regulatory change management, and executive reporting. As International Risk continues to evolve in response to changing business, operational risk, compliance, and prudential regulatory requirements, this role will help ensure effective coordination, administration, oversight, and reporting across multiple governance programs.
Working closely with International SP&G colleagues, CIB Risk partners, Finance, Compliance, Operational Risk, and other key stakeholders, the successful candidate will help improve data quality, enhance reporting insights, strengthen governance processes, and contribute to a more sustainable operating model.
This position offers the opportunity to influence the development of a scalable global support model while identifying opportunities to simplify processes, improve tooling, leverage AI-enabled solutions, reduce manual effort, increase automation, and create stronger linkages across business management and governance routines.
In this role, you will:
Participate in or provide support for responsible oversight and strategic direction of enterprise risk, governance and reporting programs and low complexity initiatives within Enterprise Risk
Review and support management with the new product approval process, risk data aggregation programs, basic tactical issues, policies, procedures related to risk, products, tasks and deliverables
Identify training opportunities, assist in training delivery run regular risk reporting and perform research
Participate in implementation and monitoring of risk based governance programs across the enterprise
Receive direction from supervisor to develop an understanding of the risk function, policies, procedures, compliance and effectiveness of companywide initiative and execution
Provide information to managers, colleagues and stakeholders, regarding interpretation of policy and guidelines including internal and external customers
Required Qualifications:
6+ months of experience in Risk (includes Compliance, Financial Crimes, Operational Risk, Audit, Legal, Credit Risk, Market Risk, IT Systems Security, Business Process Management or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
