Who will you be working with?

You will work closely with Wabtec's Product Cybersecurity team, supporting initiatives that improve visibility, efficiency, compliance, and collaboration across cybersecurity programs. The team leverages Microsoft technologies to streamline processes, enhance reporting capabilities, and enable data-driven decision-making through automation and custom business applications.

How will you make a difference?

As a Product Cybersecurity Application Developer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining digital solutions that support cybersecurity operations and strategic initiatives. You will leverage Microsoft's Power Platform ecosystem, including Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and SharePoint, to create applications, automate workflows, and deliver business insights.

This role requires close collaboration with stakeholders to understand business needs, translate requirements into technical solutions, and continuously improve processes through automation and innovation. Your work will help increase operational efficiency, improve data accuracy, and empower teams with scalable technology solutions.

What do we want to know about you?

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field
• Experience developing solutions using Microsoft Power Platform
• Experience building model-driven Power Apps, including complex forms, views, dashboards, and business process flows
• Experience creating and maintaining advanced Power Automate workflows utilizing multiple connectors
• Advanced proficiency in Power BI report and dashboard development
• Experience with automation scripting languages such as Python
• Experience developing and administering SharePoint-based solutions
• Ability to gather business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional and global teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Power Platform certifications
• Experience working within cybersecurity, IT, compliance, or engineering environments
• Experience with data governance, security permissions, and access management
• Experience integrating Power Platform with enterprise applications and data sources
• Knowledge of Agile project methodologies and solution lifecycle management

What will your typical day look like?

• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
• Design and develop model-driven Power Apps, including forms, views, dashboards, and business process flows
• Build and enhance custom applications using Microsoft Power Platform technologies
• Develop automation solutions that improve process efficiency, consistency, and reliability
• Create interactive Power BI dashboards and reports that provide meaningful business insights
• Design, implement, and administer SharePoint solutions that support collaboration and data management
• Build and maintain Power Automate workflows to streamline business processes
• Configure and manage security roles, permissions, and data access policies within Power Platform environments
• Perform testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and issue resolution for applications and workflows
• Document technical specifications, system configurations, procedures, process maps, and user guides
• Develop and deliver training materials and user enablement sessions to drive successful adoption
• Provide post-deployment support, capture user feedback, and translate enhancement opportunities into future development activities
• Partner with cybersecurity and business teams to continuously improve tools, reporting, and operational effectiveness
