Job Description
The Client Care organization is a pillar within the broader Client Services organization. We are a servicing organization supporting merchants, issuing banks, individual cardholders, and corporate clients. We cultivate a culture that encourages growth, development, and engagement. The Learning Project Manager / Instructional Designer supports the Client Care organization by leading small to medium-sized learning projects, primarily business-as-usual (BAU) efforts or initiative-driven workstreams. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering high-quality learning solutions that align with established enterprise learning standards and strategies.
The role may also develop curriculum or learning components that support larger, enterprise initiatives led by the Learning Program Manager / Sr. Instructional Designer. Working under defined strategy and governance, this role focuses on execution excellence, timely delivery, and effective learner experiences.
This position partners closely with project managers, business stakeholders, facilitators, and other instructional designers to ensure learning solutions are practical, scalable, and aligned to business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end instructional design and delivery for small to medium-sized learning projects, including BAU updates and initiative-driven efforts.
- Design and develop learning solutions across multiple modalities, including AI, eLearning, instructor-led, virtual, video, and blended experiences, following established enterprise standards and templates.
- Develop curriculum, modules, or learning assets in support of larger learning programs led by a Learning Program Manager / Sr. Instructional Designer.
- Apply adult learning principles and instructional design methodologies to create engaging and effective learning experiences.
- Leverage AI-enabled tools and learning technologies to improve efficiency and learner outcomes.
- Conduct quality reviews, user acceptance testing (UAT), and content revisions to ensure learning deliverables meet defined standards.
- Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, validate learning needs, and incorporate feedback throughout the design and development process.
- Deliver training, as needed, in support of onboarding, upskilling, and initiative-driven learning needs.
- Support facilitators and instructors by contributing to Train-the-Trainer (T3) materials or sessions, as needed.
- Track project progress, manage timelines for assigned work, communicate status, risks, and dependencies to project or program leads.
Visa requires at least 3 days in office, expectations of these days will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
- 5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
- 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
- Solid experience in instructional design and adult learning principles.
- Working knowledge of instructional design methodologies such as ADDIE or SAM.
- Experience designing and developing learning solutions across multiple modalities, including AI.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks or projects simultaneously.
- Experience incorporating feedback and revising learning content to meet quality and stakeholder expectations.
- Experience supporting enterprise or large-scale learning initiatives as part of a broader program team.
- Proficiency with common eLearning authoring tools and learning technologies (e.g., Articulate Storyline, LMS platforms).
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
