Job Description
Overview:
Visa Government Solutions (VGS) brings Visa’s consumer, commercial, money movement and value-added solutions to public sector clients globally. In this regional Director role, you will lead the commercial payments agenda for VGS in CEMEA, helping governments and public sector organizations modernize expenditure across procurement, travel, fleet, employee benefits, lending and related payment flows.
You will work closely with regional VGS sales teams, Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS) team, the Regional Head of GTM & Commercialization and the Global Head of VGS Commercial Payments to develop growth strategies, partnerships and go-to-market plans that position Visa as a leading partner for Government-to-Business (G2B) payments.
This is an opportunity to combine deep commercial payments expertise with strategic thinking, market insight and cross-functional influence. You will turn regional opportunities, client needs and ecosystem trends into practical solutions that accelerate VGS growth and support Visa’s broader 2030 roadmap.
The role offers a broad and varied remit. You will build understanding of regional market dynamics, regulatory considerations and economic drivers, while helping shape cross-functional plans for large ecosystem opportunities involving technology enablers, marketplaces, ERPs, system integrators, travel management companies, e-invoicing providers, issuers and acquirers.
As Visa moves from planning to execution of its 2030 roadmap, you will contribute to a strategic priority: deepening penetration of B2B and G2B spend. Your work will help shape regional go-to-market strategies, expand acceptance, strengthen market execution and unlock a share of the global addressable opportunity.
We are looking for a strategic, commercially minded payments leader who enjoys building relationships, connecting market insight to client need, and working through teams across the region and wider Visa organization. You will bring sound judgement, curiosity and the ability to turn complex opportunities into clear commercial strategies.
