Risk Internship

Your role

Are you interested in developing risk management skills related to UBS Wealth Management investment portfolios?

We’re looking for a risk intern to help us with the following:

• help on the implementation of the routines which support the principles and appropriate independent control framework to monitor market, liquidity and credit risks within UBS Wealth Management investment portfolios
• work on the continuous improvement of the processes, identifying and eliminating routines redundancies, creating routines and controls in Excel spreadsheets and using Excel VBA for automations
• support the production of the risk control reports
• work in collaboration with the whole Brazil Risk Management team

Your team

You’ll be working in the Asset Management Risk Control Team based in São Paulo in the hybrid work model. We have the responsibility to identify and control the potential risks related to Wealth Management investment portfolios.

Your expertise

• studying Engineering, Mathematics, Economics or related field with graduation date of Dec/2027 or later
• solid Microsoft Office, mainly Excel, desirable VBA skills
• programming languages
• availability to work 6 hours per day
• proficient language skills in Portuguese and advanced English
• you’re curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment – validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use.
• availability to work on-site in São Paulo, Brazil
