We're looking for ambitious students to join our 2026 Off-cycle Internship within our Governmental Affairs business in Switzerland.
You’ll get to:
• help monitor and analyze highly relevant political and regulatory developments that have a material impact on UBS's strategy and business, or on our clients, investors, and employees • contribute to the development of data- and AI-enabled advocacy content and dashboards • collaborate on advocacy content, position papers, briefings and presentations, translating complex topics into actionable insights • assist in the development and execution of public affairs and advocacy strategies, including organization and coordination of events, meetings, and stakeholder engagements • provide general project and administrative support to ongoing advocacy and public affairs activities

Your team
You'll be part of the Governmental Affairs team based in Zurich.
Governmental Affairs provides comprehensive coverage of regulatory policy and political processes relevant to UBS, and leads our advocacy efforts, with colleagues based in key regions/jurisdictions globally.
Your expertise
We’re looking for a candidate who:
• has completed at least 4 semesters of a bachelor's degree, and graduated no longer than six months ago (bachelor's or master's degree), ideally with specialization in data science or economics • has a competitive minimum GPA of 4.5 according to the Swiss grading system • has values that align with ours: hard-working, trustworthy, dedicated and collaborative • is a strategic thinker with strong communication skills • is motivated to work in a business with high demands and tight deadline • can evidence how experimental and responsible use of AI can improve outcomes and efficiency • has excellent German and English skills (fluency in French or Italian area plus ) • interest in emerging technologies, data science, and data management; initial experience in public policy or financial market regulation is a plus • a strong analytical and strategic mindset, with the ability to structure and communicate complex topics clearly
