Overview
We are looking for a dynamic and client-focused Senior Solution Lead with experience in the Utilities domain and strong consulting capabilities. The ideal candidate should have expertise in bid management, proposal development, market research, and digital transformation initiatives across the Energy & Utilities sector. Experience in SCADA/ADMS programs will be considered a strong advantage.
The candidate will support business growth initiatives, client engagements, strategic transformation programs, and solution development for utilities clients across transmission, distribution, and smart grid domains.
Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end bid management and proposal development activities (RFP/RFI/RFQ responses).
- Collaborate with sales, solution architects, and delivery teams to create compelling client proposals and value propositions.
- Develop presentations, POVs (Points of View), capability decks, and strategic solution documents.
- Conduct effort estimation, risk analysis, and solution positioning for utility transformation programs.
- Support client discussions, workshops, and strategic pursuits.
- Perform market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and industry trend assessments in the utilities sector.
- Research emerging technologies, regulatory trends, and digital utility transformation initiatives.
- Prepare strategic insights and recommendations for utilities clients.
- Develop business cases and transformation roadmaps for utility modernization initiatives.
- Work with electric, gas, or water utilities on modernization initiatives.
- Understanding of utility business processes
- Support solution development aligned with utility operational and business objectives.
- Exposure to SCADA, ADMS, EMS, OMS, or DERMS platforms will be an added advantage.
- Understanding of utility operational technologies and IT-OT integration.
- Familiarity with OEM platforms such as GE Vernona, Aspen tech OSI, Schneider Electric, or Hitachi Energy is preferred.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Technology, Business, or related field.
- MBA or equivalent consulting/business qualification preferred.
- 5–8 years of experience in Utilities consulting, digital transformation, or strategic advisory roles.
- Experience with Smart Grid, SCADA, ADMS, EMS, OMS, or DERMS.
- Experience with AMI / Smart metering/ intelligent Asset management
- Knowledge of IT-OT integration and utility operational technologies.
- Strong communication and storytelling capability.
- Consulting mindset with client-first approach.
- Ability to work in cross-functional and global teams.
- Strong documentation and executive presentation skills.
- Experience working with system integrators, OEMs, or large utility clients.
