Where is the work:
Monday to Thursday, work onsite with your colleagues. Fridays, choose your work location, balancing what your work requires.
What you will do:
- Managing and maintaining electronic records/files, with particular emphasis on electronic M&A closing sets (prepared by outside counsel) and key transaction documents
- Coordinating with attorneys and other functions/teams regarding M&A closing processes and logistics
- Drafting preliminary transaction documents (such as NDAs and LOIs) and various corporate documents from time to time
- Tracking signatures, closing binders, and post-closing deliverables and deadlines
- Support the preparation and submission of regulatory filings
- Attend to post-closing matters, including internal flow of relevant information and documents to other functions/teams
Position will also provide related administrative support to the attorneys, including:
- Managing outside counsel matter set-up and invoice processing through internal e-billing system, and tracking legal billing/spend on matters
- Preparing various reports, power point presentations, proofreading memorandums, other administrative functions
- Managing calendars, scheduling meetings, and coordinating travel
- Managing Legal M&A team’s expense reports, invoices, and outside counsel billing review
What you will bring:
The successful candidate must have:
- Min. Yrs. Experience: 3-7 years of relevant corporate paralegal experience in an in-house legal or law firm environment; experience supporting corporate M&A attorneys a plus
- Education Standard: Paralegal certificate preferred, but not required
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple daily tasks or requests with minimal supervision
- A demonstrated track record of interacting with all levels of management, staff, and outside contacts in a discreet, courteous, and professional manner
- Ability to keep tasks and assignments organized and follow up independently as needed
- Detail-oriented and diligent work ethic with the ability to work cohesively with others
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to handle confidential information in a professional manner
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Ability to work effectively and accurately under pressure and time constraints
- A high level of motivation and initiative, a team approach, and the ability to communicate clearly
- Strong Microsoft Office (including Outlook, Powerpoint, Excel and Word) skills
- Experience using AI-assisted legal tools preferred but not required

$84,740.00 - $137,200.00
