What's in it for you:

Trane is Hiring a Sales Support Engineer - Sales Support Engineer’s primary responsibility is to support sales team in winning opportunities and determining technical components related to customer’s request. Sales Support Engineer also acts as expert resource in technical and application requirements for the team.

What you will do:

• Prepares plans, layouts and designs with supporting calculations for specifications.
• Supports technical things on multiple products especially on unitary.
• Analyzes a customer’s technical needs, suggests solutions, resolves implementation problems and conducts user training.
• Supplies staff with drafting and estimating information to assist with the production of detailed drawings, the development of tools, quantities, materials purchased and equipment.
• Support bid response, functional system review, competitive comparison and review for accurate estimates and applications of equipment
• Provides technical solution proposals including project budgetary estimations and may involve in price negotiations as required.
• Support both sales team & customer during technical requirement definition & solution development sales process steps
• Deliver technical training on new technology for sales professional and external customer.
• Coach and train junior sales support engineers and/or fulfilment team to build knowledge and solution technical competency.

What you will bring:

• Diploma/Bachelor degree in HVAC/Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering
• 5+ years of related role in HVAC industry, preferably on same role
• Having experiences of multiple products (unitary, chiller, airside)
• Ability to work well independently
• Demonstrated ability to complete tasks within deadlines and work well under pressure
• Strong work commitment and can work under pressure
• Good verbal and written communication skills
