About the Role

We are looking for an experienced ICM Rule and Advanced Workflow Developer to support our SAP-based incentive compensation platform. This role plays a critical part in translating compensation plan design into system configuration, ensuring accurate payouts, strong governance, and efficient approval workflows.
You will work closely with Sales Operations, HR, Finance, and IT teams to configure calculation rules, build scalable workflows, and support ongoing compensation processing.

Roles & responsibilities

• Configure and maintain complex incentive compensation calculation rules within SAP
• Translate plan documents into system logic including rate tables, tiered curves, accelerators, thresholds, caps, and clawbacks
• Develop eligibility and crediting rules based on role, hierarchy, territory, and business unit
• Support compensation cycles including accruals, adjustments, and final payouts
• Troubleshoot calculation discrepancies and perform root cause analysis
• Validate inbound data from HR, Finance, and operational systems
• Design and configure multi-step approval workflows for plan assignments, exceptions, and manual adjustments
• Implement conditional routing based on business attributes and compensation structures
• Configure automated notifications and escalation triggers
• Ensure workflows align with internal control and compliance requirements
• Improve process efficiency by reducing manual intervention

What We’re Looking For

• 3 to 6 years of experience working with SAP-based incentive compensation systems
• Strong understanding of incentive plan design and payout mechanics
• Hands-on experience configuring calculation rules and Advanced workflows
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to translate business requirements into scalable system logic
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, HR, Finance, and IT

 

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting SAP HR or Finance integrations
• Familiarity with compensation accrual and reconciliation processes
• Background in Sales Operations or Compensation Operations
