Who we’re looking for
Toyota’s Legal and Compliance Department is looking for a passionate and highly motivated Legal Analyst and Executive Assistant.
This role is primarily focused on legal support and legal operations across the department’s core functions, including subpoena intake, licensing overflow, corporate filings, privacy reviews, and Enterprise Governance, Risk, & Compliance (eGRC) tracking. The position also supports legal and compliance initiatives through research and special projects, helping ensure matters are handled efficiently, accurately, and in alignment with departmental priorities. In addition, this role will support executive-level administrative needs, including calendar coordination, travel, expense reporting, onboarding, research, and special projects, to help keep the team organized and effective.
Reporting to the Chief Legal and Compliance Officer, the person in this role will support the department's objective to provide always better service.
This position is based in Plano, Texas. The selected candidate will be expected to reside within commutable distance of this location.
The successful candidate will have:

What you’ll be doing
Subpoena intake process, tracking, and coordination of responses
Licensing overflow support, including document handling and administrative follow-up
Corporate governance filing preparation, submission, and record maintenance
Voluntary Protection Product form filings and communications with departments of insurance
Privacy review support, including intake, tracking, and coordination of review requests
eGRC support for new and updated laws, including intake, monitoring, and tracking
Legal regulatory task summaries, status updates, and deadline tracking
Special projects and research assignments, including law firm engagement support
Administrative duties including new team member onboarding
Calendar management, including meetings, deadlines, and priority scheduling
Travel coordination, including itineraries, bookings, and related logistics
Expense report preparation, review, and submission support
What you bring
Bachelor’s degree (or higher) OR equivalent professional work experience
Legal support function experience
Strong experience with administrative support responsibilities, including calendar coordination, travel arrangements, and expense reporting
Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Added bonus if you have
Experience with subpoena intake process
Experience in a regulated industry
Proficiency with Microsoft Teams
Legal support function experience with a focus on financing and compliance
