About you:
Day-to-day, you will:
- Technical stack & tools: Strong knowledge of C#/.NET, SQL and databases, web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React), APIs, AI/LLMs and prompt engineering, with solid experience using Git and branching strategies.
- Development & quality: Writes clean, readable, DRY, and self-documenting code, applies SOLID principles and common design patterns, debugs and refactors safely, writes unit tests, understands exception handling, and takes ownership of code quality and QA practices.
- Delivery & agile ways of working: Actively participates in sprint ceremonies, refinement and planning, provides accurate estimates, understands environments and deployments, uses project-specific dev tools, and contributes to continuous improvement through retrospectives.
- Collaboration & problem solving: Communicates progress and risks clearly and early, engages effectively in requirements reviews, follows source control procedures, identifies and explains root causes of issues, and demonstrates strong product and business awareness.
Your skills and experiences might also include:
- DevOps & delivery: Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO), including deployment pipelines, releases, and branch management.
- Release control: Practical use of feature flagging to manage and de-risk production changes.
- Observability: Experience with telemetry, monitoring, and using insights to identify and resolve issues.
- Domain knowledge: Exposure to Payroll or HR systems and related business processes
