Job Description:

Job Accountabilities – What You'll Do

• Provide strategic technology leadership across the Money Movement and Card Payments Product Group including Email Money Transfer, Global Transfers, Digital and Ecommerce wallets.
• Partner with Product Management to define and execute the technology roadmap supporting business objectives and customer outcomes.
• Lead technology investment planning, prioritization, and capacity management across multiple delivery streams.
• Drive alignment between product strategy, enterprise architecture, engineering standards, and delivery objectives.
• Own technology outcomes across customer experience, platform reliability, scalability, security, and operational excellence.

Agile Release Train (ART) Leadership

• Lead and govern technology delivery across Agile Release Trains.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Release Train Engineers, System Architects, and Engineering Leaders to ensure successful feature delivery.
• Drive Program Increment (PI) planning, dependency management, risk mitigation, and execution tracking.
• Ensure effective coordination across Business, Technology, Risk, Compliance, Operations, and Vendor partners.
• Establish and monitor delivery KPIs, engineering metrics, and business outcome measurements.

Payments Technology Delivery

• Lead the design and delivery of payment capabilities supporting:
  • Interac e-Transfer
  • International Payments
  • ISO 20022 Payment Processing
  • Digital Wallet and Mobile Payment Solutions
• Ensure seamless integration between payment channels, orchestration platforms, payment engines, fraud platforms, customer systems, and downstream processing applications.
• Drive modernization initiatives leveraging APIs, microservices, cloud-native platforms, and event-driven architectures.

Stakeholder Management

• Build strong relationships with executive stakeholders across Technology, Payments, Product, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Finance.
• Communicate delivery status, risks, dependencies, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.
• Influence decision-making across complex organizational structures.
• Manage strategic vendor partnerships and third-party technology providers.

You’ll be expected to work Primarily onsite at a TD location for meetings, team events and experiences. The hiring manager will provide more information about how this works for their team.

Job Requirements – What You Need to Succeed

• 10+ years of progressive technology leadership experience.
• 5+ years leading large-scale payments or financial services technology initiatives.
• Proven experience leading Agile Release Trains, Product Groups, or large technology portfolios.
• Experience managing multiple cross-functional engineering and delivery teams.
