Inbound Sales Representative - German-speaking

About the team

Our Berlin sales team is the first SumUp voice thousands of merchants across the DACH region hear — from cafés and retailers to service businesses ready for their next step. We work closely, share what's working, and measure ourselves on real results. As an Inbound Sales Representative, you shape how new merchants experience SumUp from day one.

What you'll do

• Own the full inbound sales cycle from lead qualification to close, over phone and email
• Advise small businesses and match them with the right mix of card readers, POS, software, and services
• Run product demos and consultations that make the value tangible for each merchant
• Hit and exceed sales targets in a performance-driven environment
• Capture merchant feedback and market signals to sharpen the DACH sales approach

You'll be great for this role if…

• You bring solid experience in consultative sales, ideally in POS, SaaS, hospitality, or retail.
• You're fluent in German (C1+) and comfortable working in English internally.
• You build long-term customer relationships and consistently pursue ambitious targets.
• You're proactive, resilient, and committed to developing your craft.
• You bring a solution-oriented mindset to every merchant and colleague interaction.
