Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a dynamic Vice President to join the Fund Accounting Ireland management team and lead the delivery of excellent client service. The role is accountable for ensuring fund accounting deliverables are accurate, timely, well controlled, and aligned with governance standards and client expectations. Reporting to the Managing Director for ETF Accounting, the Vice President will define and execute the service delivery, risk, and control strategy for a key client.

As Vice President, you will be accountable for the successful delivery of fund accounting services for a strategically important ETF client. You will lead the service model, drive operational performance and act as a trusted partner to both the client and senior stakeholders across the organisation.

This role offers the opportunity to influence the future direction of ETF Fund Accounting, shape operating model enhancements, drive meaningful change and play a key role in supporting the continued growth of our ETF business. You will have direct visibility with senior client stakeholders and State Street leadership, providing a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact on one of the firm's most important client relationships.

Role specifics:

• Oversee end-to-end delivery of all fund accounting services for the client, with full accountability for accurate, timely, complete, and controlled execution of all agreed deliverables.
• Drive a service excellence culture across Fund Accounting and all supporting global operations teams, ensuring daily execution meets client expectations and agreed service standards.
• Establish clear delivery standards, performance routines, and governance across teams, aligned with the global operating model and enabled by corporate technology wherever possible.
• Ensure optimal technical setup of fund accounting services and elections across funds.
• Lead prioritisation and delivery of client change activity, including transitions, fund launches, operating model enhancements, and process improvement initiatives.
• Provide timely, relevant, and action-oriented reporting to corporate and regional governance committees to support effective oversight, challenge, and decision-making.
• Lead senior client service discussions, presenting performance insights, KPI outcomes, and strategic service updates to support effective governance and decision-making.

Managerial:

• Set clear accountabilities, authority levels, objectives, and development expectations across the team.
• Maintain a strong control environment through disciplined oversight, effective delegation, escalation, and adherence to policy and regulatory requirements.
• Lead a high-performing team culture grounded in ownership, service excellence, risk awareness, and continuous improvement.
• Build senior relationships across global operations, technology, risk, product, and client-facing teams to drive coordinated execution and issue resolution.
• Develop succession depth and leadership capability for critical client service roles.
• Run an effective oversight framework, using management information to challenge performance, drive remediation, and reinforce accountability.
• Promote Risk Excellence through transparent escalation, constructive challenge, and disciplined follow-through on issues.
• Demonstrate sound judgement, high standards of conduct, and timely, well-informed decision-making.

Skills and experience:

• Primary degree, professional accounting qualification, or equivalent experience preferred.
• Deep fund accounting and investment services experience, ideally 10+ years, with strong knowledge of securities, investment strategies, market practices, and operating risk.
• Strong working knowledge of ETF products and processes, including fixed income, complex derivatives and equities; expertise in adjacent investment services areas will also be considered.
• Demonstrated ability to engage senior client stakeholders, lead difficult conversations, and drive resolution of high-impact service issues.
• Strong track record operating in regulated environments with accountability for risk management, control effectiveness, regulatory outcomes, and service resilience.
• Comprehensive understanding of business administration and management disciplines, including strategic planning, operational execution, people leadership, regulatory obligations, financial management, and cost control.
• Demonstrated ability to make sound, timely decisions in high-pressure, high-impact environments involving clients, regulators, senior stakeholders, and complex operational issues.
• Proven ability to build accountability, improve controls, strengthen operating discipline, and deliver measurable service improvements in a complex global delivery environment.
