Job Posting Summary
The French Payroll Officer will serve as the subject matter expert for French payroll within the Global HR Service Delivery (GHR SD) team, ensuring compliant, accurate, and timely payroll delivery while supporting strategic HR operations initiatives across France and the wider EMEA region.
The successful candidate will be an experienced Payroll Officer and subject matter expert in French payroll, serving as the primary point of contact for operational guidance and payroll-related matters.
This includes all areas of employment taxation, regulatory and statutory reporting as well ensuring robust governance, risk management, and compliance controls are maintained across payroll and HR operations activities.
In the role you will need to work independently, but in tandem support various teams and projects as they arise. You will act as a key liaison and trusted advisor for all questions and issues relating to French payroll and HR Operations.
This role will be based in Poland (Kraków or Gdańsk) and will support France and other EMEA locations.
You will report to the Payroll & HR Operations EMEA Hub Manager and the Country Head for France.

Minimum Salary:
zł132,000 AnnualThe minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.
Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.
In addition to salary, employees are eligible to be considered for discretionary annual performance-based awards.
