Purpose of Role:
The Advisory Compliance team seeks a Compliance Manager – Vice President to support the oversight of and provide advice and guidance related to the transformation and the target operating model of the custody business of the Italian and other SSBI Branches.
In addition, the position is part of the broader Advisory Compliance team.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree, Masters, legal studies or experience with depository/custody businesses (preferred).
Minimum 10-15 years’ experience in financial services preferably within a compliance function.
Have a strong understanding of policies, procedures and controls.
Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and team-working skills.
Good regulatory understanding (especially custody, depository regulation and their EU implementation).
Strong analytical skills, excellent oral and written communication skills.
Minimum Salary:
€85,000 AnnualThe minimum salary quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the successful candidate ultimately works outside of this primary location, the applicable minimum salary may differ.
Salary will be determined based on factors such as the position, type of work performed, individual skills, job description, working hours, diligence, initiative, self-management, length of employment, availability, and the quantity and quality of work delivered, as well as other objective and non-discriminatory criteria relevant to State Street employees.
In addition to base salary, employees may, subject to applicable local laws, company policies, and plan terms, be eligible for a country-aligned benefits package and may be considered, at the Company’s sole discretion, for discretionary annual performance-based awards.
