Senior Marketing Specialist - ( 260000H3 ) Description About the role We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Marketing Specialist to join Stantec on a 13-month fixed-term contract covering parental leave, commencing in September 2026. In this role, you will work closely with business leaders across Australia to deliver marketing campaigns, content, social media initiatives, events and communications that support business growth. You'll take ownership of projects from concept through to delivery, building strong stakeholder relationships and helping bring ideas to life. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys turning ideas into action. You will be confident working independent, taking ownership of your work, solving problems and driving outcomes, while maintaining alignment with broader team and business priorities. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual, with a background in marketing and/or communications and a highly organised team player who can communicate effectively, manage multiple concurrent initiatives, and thrive in a deadline-driven environment. Day to day tasks would involve:
- Plan and execute brand promotion activity relating to sponsorships, tradeshows, conferences, events and activities for a variety of services and business sectors.
- Work with key business development leaders to coordinate strategic materials and other communications in alignment with the Stantec brand.
- Writing thoughtful, high-impact, and engaging collateral that highlights our depth of experience, expertise, and creativity.
- Lead the planning, creation, scheduling and performance monitoring of social media content across LinkedIn, helping amplify Stantec's brand, projects and thought leadership.
- Act as a power user of marketing systems and platforms, helping the team streamline processes, improve efficiency and adopt new digital tools
- Develop market facing communications and visual displays in partnership with the graphic design team.

To be successful for this role you'll need:
- Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or a related discipline
- Minimum 6 years’ experience in a marketing or communications role, ideally within professional services, consulting, engineering, architecture, or a related environment
- Strong experience managing LinkedIn content, campaigns and employee advocacy programs, with an understanding of social media best practice and performance metrics.
- Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Strong ability to use Adobe Creative Cloud particularly InDesign), and other desktop publishing programs is desirable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to produce engaging and high-quality content
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
