Your Opportunity As a Junior Civil Engineer, you will join project teams delivering municipal infrastructure projects that support clean water, resilient communities, and sustainable growth. Working with experienced engineers, designers, and project managers, you will build practical experience across planning, design, analysis, documentation, field review, construction support, client communication, and project coordination. This role offers the opportunity to develop a strong foundation in municipal civil engineering through a mix of office-based design work, field assignments, construction-phase support, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams. You will contribute to projects involving watermains, sewers, forcemains, culverts, municipal and site roads, stormwater management infrastructure, grading, and drainage for municipal, federal, and other clients. You will be supported as you develop your technical judgment, design skills, communication abilities, project delivery skills, and path toward professional licensure. Over time, you will take on increasing responsibility, deepen your understanding of municipal infrastructure, and have the opportunity to grow either as a generalist or by developing focused expertise in a specific area of civil engineering. The successful candidate will be curious, detail-oriented, eager to learn, and motivated to contribute to a collaborative Water Engineering practice. You will bring a practical problem-solving mindset, strong follow-through, and an interest in learning through hands-on project work, field experience, and mentorship from experienced technical staff.
