Proposals Team Leader, Transport - ( 260000H4 ) Description As Stantec continues to grow its presence in the Australian transport sector, we are seeking an experienced Proposals Team Leader – Transport to support the pursuit of infrastructure and transport opportunities. The role can be based in Sydney or Brisbane or Melbourne and reporting to the Regional Director – Transport AU, this role will be instrumental in delivering compelling proposals that showcase our technical expertise, innovation and commitment to client success. Working across a diverse range of pursuits, you will lead the planning, development and delivery of proposal submissions, translating pursuit strategies into compelling, compliant and client-focused responses. Collaborating with transport leaders, technical specialists, marketing teams and proposal support resources, you will coordinate contributors, manage proposal processes and help improve the quality and consistency of our submissions across Australia. Day to day tasks would involve:
- Leading the planning, coordination and delivery of proposal submissions for transport and infrastructure opportunities across Australia
- Analysing RFPs and tender documentation to establish compliance requirements, response strategies and submission plans
- Developing proposal schedules, compliance matrices and review processes to ensure high-quality and on-time submissions
- Partnering with technical specialists, project managers and business leaders to develop compelling, client-focused proposal content
- Writing, reviewing and refining executive summaries, key proposal responses and supporting content to strengthen win themes and messaging
- Coordinating inputs from proposal support resources, designers and other contributors to ensure seamless proposal delivery
- Supporting the development and continuous improvement of CVs, project sheets, case studies and reusable proposal content
- Driving continuous improvement through proposal debriefs, lessons learned, content management and the application of proposal management best practice.
To be successful for this role you'll need:- Tertiary qualifications in Business, Communications, Marketing, Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrated experience managing proposal development within consulting, engineering, professional services or infrastructure environments.
- Proven ability to lead complex, multi-disciplinary proposals and coordinate numerous stakeholders.
- Strong writing, editing and communication skills with the ability to translate technical information into compelling client-focused submissions.
- Experience leading or coordinating distributed teams and applying structured proposal management methodologies such as APMP.
