Senior Principal Mechanical Engineer to join our growing Water team in theSouth West .This is a strategic leadership opportunity within one of the UK's leading multidisciplinary consultancies. You'll work alongside nationally recognised technical specialists, leading the delivery of major water and wastewater infrastructure programmes while shaping the future of our Mechanical Engineering discipline. ABOUT THE ROLEAs a Senior Principal Mechanical Engineer, you'll provide strategic technical leadership across major infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects, overseeing delivery from feasibility and optioneering through to detailed design, construction support and commissioning.
You'll act as a senior technical authority across water and wastewater treatment works, pumping stations and conveyance systems, ensuring engineering excellence, innovation and robust technical governance throughout project delivery. Working closely with project managers, technical leaders, clients, contractors and multidisciplinary teams, you'll help shape engineering solutions while supporting framework growth and strengthening long-term client partnerships.
Alongside your project responsibilities, you'll lead, mentor and develop engineers across the business, providing line management, building technical capability and helping define the future direction of our Mechanical Engineering discipline.
