Job Description
To ensure all specialist trade deals meet transactional requirements aligned to the product specific frameworks / standards, and monitor the trade life cycle to ensure contractual obligations are met and risk is managed.
Qualifications
Degree in Business, Finance or any related qualification
Additional Information
Experience:
- 3-4 years in Trade services experience and knowledge, including Back to Backs, Open Account Trade Finance, Risk Participation, Trade Loans, Exchange Control and Escrow accounts.
- Experience and knowledge of Trade loans and commodity finance
- Previous Corporate Banking experience within trade operations or relevant transaction management units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute payment due diligence processes and procedures within prescribed turnaround times, ensuring compliance with Exchange Control rulings, regulatory requirements, and internal policies, while engaging relevant stakeholders to facilitate accurate transaction processing, reduce rework, and maintain high service standards.
- Provide guidance and support to internal and external stakeholders in support of Payments strategic objectives, ensuring adherence to service level agreements (SLAs), delivering quality service, and fostering strong customer and business partner relationships.
- Promote a culture of accuracy and quality by minimizing processing errors, rework, human incidents, and associated financial impacts.
- Coordinate and support internal control reviews, internal and external audits, Financial Intelligence Centre (FIC) reviews, compliance reviews, and regulatory inspections by ensuring the timely provision of accurate information, documentation, and responses.
- Monitor and track audit, compliance, and regulatory findings, ensuring that agreed action plans are implemented within prescribed timelines and that identified risks are appropriately mitigated.
- Maintain audit readiness by ensuring payment validation processes and records comply with applicable Exchange Control rulings, regulatory requirements, internal policies, and control standards.
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to facilitate the effective management of audit, compliance, and regulatory engagements, supporting continuous improvement of controls and operational processes
