WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US
We are looking for a Head of Commercial Strategy to support our rapidly growing Americas business unit. Americas — and North America in particular — represents the largest growth market for SimCorp and is mission-critical to our ambition to lead the buy-side investment management solutions industry. In this role, you will partner closely with the regional Head of Americas to craft a market-leading commercial strategy for our buy-side target markets, spanning market positioning, sales enablement, pricing strategy, and organizational design.
We'd like you to bring a deep background in the buy-side, and the ability to influence and drive our commercial success story as we enter our next chapter of growth.
WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR
Guide senior management in understanding and translating market opportunities into SimCorp's corporate vision and strategy
Contribute strategic insights on industry innovation and trends, including navigating the competitive landscape
Run strategic deep-dives on core subject areas, engaging the wider organization and leveraging your industry knowledge and perspective
Prepare C-suite reports on market dynamics, positioning, and intelligence on the competitive landscape
Contribute to thought leadership pieces in our industry that impact SimCorp's clients and community
WHAT WE VALUE
7+ years of experience within the investment management function of an Asset Manager or a buy-side consultancy organization
Strong understanding of the full value chain of an Asset Management organization, its drivers, and market landscape development
Insight into the software landscape for investment management and the macro-trends shaping the future of the industry
Experience with commercial strategy, sales enablement, and commercial execution
Experience across the buy-side vendor system landscape is preferred, but not essential
Empathetic, and thrives working closely with people
Ability to work on-site at our office in NYC atleast 2 days per week

For New York City only: The salary range for this position is $108,560 - $162,840 USD. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, and benefits including health care, leave, and retirement plans. Your total compensation may vary based on role, location, department and individual performance.
