Responsibilities:
Perform expert-level maintenance and repairs on complex aerospace and defense systems.
Diagnose and resolve the most challenging technical issues.
Experience with Joint Light Tactical Vehicle (JLTV) , Humvee, LTV, or other military tactical vehicles.
Experience supporting vehicle launch, validation, or early production efforts.
Knowledge of Military /DoD/ DoW maintenance practices, MESL, or technical directives.
Familiarity with root cause analysis tools and structured troubleshooting methodologies.
Experience collaborating with engineering teams during prototyping or product improvement cycles.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of all field activities and equipment status.
Ensure strict compliance with safety standards and industry regulations.
Oversee inventory management for spare parts and tools.
Generate comprehensive technical reports and present findings to stakeholders.
Travel extensively to customer sites, potentially including international locations.
Qualifications You Must Have:
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
3+ years of experience as a technician or in a related field.
Related experience may be considered in lieu of required education
Ability to understand and interpret basic technical schematics, diagrams, blueprints, manuals and/or publications
Progressive experience using troubleshooting techniques and repair radar and communication systems in various environments, including both fixed locations and deployed environments.
Hands-on background in vehicle maintenance, repair, overhaul, or sustainment of diesel or military vehicles.
Experience diagnosing mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues.
Background in networking, radar, communications
Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, the ability to read complex drawings, and proficiency with precision tools.
Thorough understanding of electrical wiring concepts
Provide technical support for computer systems and networks.
Install, sustain, troubleshoot, and repair various communication systems, including networks, cable distribution, COMSEC, and cryptographic devices.
Ability to frequently travel outside the continental US, typically for extended periods of time
An active Secret U.S. Security Clearance is required
Current/ valid passport and be able to obtain a visa to travel internationally
Successfully pass a pre-deployment medical assessment
Ability to meet current DoD and Combatant Command restriction requirements for deployed locations
Ability to deploy for a minimum of 90 days to OCONUS operating location.
Must be willing and able to work extended hours, holidays and shift schedules as required
60 hour work week.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Experience with FCC or FCC GROL
Prior experience with Security+, Network+, CCNA and/or A+
ASE certification (Automotive Service Excellence), ideally in diesel engines or medium/heavy truck.
Experience supporting vehicle launch, validation, or early production efforts.
Knowledge of DoD/DoW maintenance practices, MESL, or technical directives.
Familiarity with root cause analysis tools and structured troubleshooting methodologies.
