What you'll do
- Identifying potential suppliers and evaluating their capabilities;
- Participating in negotiations with suppliers to secure favorable terms and pricing;
- Involved in the inventory management process – analyzing market demand and response;
- Supplier Management – managing current suppliers to ensure that orders are delivered by the committed date;
- Cost and Quality Management – enabling access to favorable pricing and conditions whilst maintaining a high standard of quality;
- Other tasks/duties assigned by the Head of Department/ Line Manager.
Requirements
- Fresh graduate or up to 1 year of experience in e-commerce operations, shop operations, commercial operations, or related fields;
- Good knowledge of vendor sourcing practices (researching, evaluating, and liaising with vendors);
- Good knowledge of the furniture industry is an advantage;
- Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred);
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, and a collaborative attitude;
- Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple purchasing orders and suppliers;
- Ability to work effectively in a team and adapt to changing priorities;
- High ethical standards and integrity in procurement practices.
