Raytheon Company is looking for an experienced, highly motivated, Material Program Manager to join the Advanced Technology (AT) Team. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, self-starter capable of developing and achieving program objectives in a matrix environment and successfully interface with functional and program leadership. In this highly visible role focusing on execution, growth and strategic visions. You’ll be creating and executing Material Program Strategies and Plans to ensure flawless execution from the front end of the business through contract closure. This position supports a product development effort that requires the ability to operate in a challenging and constantly changing environment. In this role you will be taking a proactive stance in making informed SCM recommendations to Program Management on risk mitigation, methods of procurement, material strategies, and supplier management.
This position is an onsite position in Tucson, AZ.
What You Will Do
Overall supply chain ownership of a multi-phased program
Responsibility for timely and compliant submission of quarterly EACs and Material Sales
Ownership of performance across domestic supply bases to include performance, quality, affordability, and delivery
Develop and execute strategies to perform and meet the Program’s needs and requirements
Lead a large subcontract and major supplier to on time deliveries by overcoming supply challenges
Lead robust and challenging negotiations across the supplier base to meet the Program objectives
Lead by influence in a matrixed organization
Have frequent engagement with PMO through execution of the contract
Provide accurate forecasting and realization of sales and additional financial metrics
Create, manage, and execute MPS (Material Program Strategy and the MPP (Material Program Plan) to enable successful execution of program competitiveness and performance, from the front end of the business through contract closure
Provide comprehensive Supply Chain support for Gates A-F activities and ensure RLPM compliance for the programs and tailoring when applicable. Key activities typically include financial management (i.e., EV, budgets, targets, working capital, material sales forecasts, etc.)
Monitor and proactively address performance and financial metrics including those related to cost, schedule, quality, and EVMS.
Collaborate with other programs to maximize efficiency of program execution including commonality.
Overall ownership of the supplier management process including supplier performance, SCM metrics, international issues, Make/Buy Where strategy, strategic agreements, and communication of customer flow through requirements such as FAR/DFARS, ITAR, offset, public law, quality, warranty, etc.
Ability to travel 10%
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years’ experience.
Experience in supply chain and related systems, program management, procurement, MRP, cost estimating, and/or finance.
Experience with supplier management and/or subcontract management.
Active and transferable Top Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date .
Qualifications We Prefer
Master’s degree in business administration, Finance, Supply Chain Management or related.
Experience with Prime Contract Requirements and Statements of Work (SSOWs) and material requirements planning (MRP).
Experience with Supply Chain, Production Control, and/or Procurement processes and requirements.
Ability to support complex product development efforts and proposals and experience in executing program financials, risk & opportunity, RLPM gates, and creating an MPP.
MPM level 3 certification and/or PM certification.

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
