This is a 1st shift position with the following hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm
What You Will Do
Performs maintenance and repairs of mechanical, electrical, and other physical structures.
Trouble shoot and repair electronic and mechanical problems on equipment.
Basic knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, electronics, and plumbing.
Maintains, troubleshoots, and repairs facility mechanical components and electrical systems.
Performs machine repair and general preventative maintenance on equipment in compliance with preventative maintenance programs.
Provides support in the development and implementation of facility and equipment upgrades.
Maintains all paperwork to document repair and preventative maintenance work completed.
Working with chemicals and maintaining Hazardous Waste manifests.
Complies with SOP’s (standard operating procedures), internal requirements, manufacturer’s specifications, and safety policies.
May perform other duties as assigned
Basic knowledge of OSHA regulations and standards for Safe work practice, hazard assessment and mitigation.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

You'll learn how to perform repairs and preventative maintenance to keep equipment and systems in good working order. This might involve tasks like replacing parts, calibrating equipment, or conducting routine inspections.
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Qualifications We Prefer:
Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role.
Strong knowledge of machinery and mechanical systems.
Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
Maintenance Management System (Enfor) as well as common office technology including MS office suite of software and other Web based tools.
Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
Knowledge in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems.
Knowledge in pumps, motors, valve, and actuator operation.
