The Global Mobility Sr. Supervisor serves as a working supervisor, leading a team of Global Mobility Coordinators while actively supporting mobility assignments. In this role, you act as the primary escalation point and subject matter expert for complex mobility issues impacting assignments across global locations. You will guide and participate in the daily operations of international assignment processes ensuring timely, accurate and compliant execution in alignment with RTX mobility policies and global requirements.
This leadership role requires deep expertise in international assignment practices, strong critical thinking capabilities and the ability to resolve challenges that span multiple business, compliance, tax and regulatory issues.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership and Team Management
- Lead, coach and develop a team of Global Mobility Coordinators.
- Set daily and weekly priorities, manage workload distribution and monitor service delivery performance.
- Provide guidance on policy application, scenario assessment and problem resolution.
- Partners with the broader Global Mobility team to ensure full coverage, timely resolution of assignment‑related tasks, and consistent delivery against established KPIs and performance metrics.
Escalation Management & Problem Resolution
- Serve as the escalation point for complex mobility issues while directly working cases and employee inquires to support the mobility processes, compliance or cross-functional dependencies.
- Apply strong analytical and judgement skills to diagnose root causes, evaluate downstream impacts and drive coordinated actions across Global Mobility Operations.
- Communicate and involve partners across Global Mobility ecosystem to solve and resolve issues.
- Partners closely with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure timely execution and resolution to provide positive employee experience.
Program and Workflow Oversight
- Oversee international assignment execution to ensure accuracy, compliance and timely processing.
- Ensure that assignment documentation, workflows and system data remain compliant.
- Monitor adherence to global mobility policies and ensure consistent application across the team.
- Review and approve coordinator work outputs, including process deliverables and checks and balances.
Data, Reporting & Compliance
- Oversee the team’s use of tools (e.g. Equus and ServiceNow) to ensure accurate data, reporting and audit readiness.
- Lead review and validation of data for accuracy, compliance and internal control requirements.
- Ensure the team maintains documentation and following processes aligned with established procedures, rules and RTX policies.
Operational Excellence
- Identify process inefficiencies and lead improvement initiatives that support digitization, automation and enhanced stakeholder experience.
- Partners with Business Services support broader optimization efforts across systems, documentation, service delivery and design.
- Develop and maintain updated templates, process documentation, and cross functional mobility processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or a master’s degree in related discipline.
- 7-10 years of experience in global mobility or HR Operations including experience with complex international assignments.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, including coaching or managing global mobility or HR operations teams.
- Strong critical thinking and analytical skills with the ability to address complex scenarios and develop recommendations.
- Proven ability to resolve issues independently and coordinate cross functional actions including across geographies.
- High proficiency with systems including mobility systems such as Equus and ServiceNow.
- Exceptional organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a high pace environment.
- Works U.S. business hours and partners closely with the U.S. team to maintain seamless coordination.
- Ability to build strong relationships and excellent written & verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-paced and deadline-driven atmosphere.
- Strong customer relationship management.
